01 The Challenge
To integrate a public facing web application with an IBM I ERP package.
This project required RPG and CL program calls and DB2 updates from a publicly accessible web application. The application allows users to confirm the details of a Purchase Orders and provide feedback on the terms and conditions.

03 The Solution
Was to up update the current Zend Server to use Open PHP and PHP Toolkit for IBM I. The web application was created using Laminas MVC.
RPG programs were used to generate and track PO emails sent to the users. UUID keys were used to generate PO details from the DB2 tables that the users could then review. PO acceptance, rejections, and revisions were tracked using feedback from the web application. Correspondence was automated using CL programs and IBM I job scheduler.
